- AHAngie HarrisOct 12, 20251.0I’ve been a loyal Edible Arrangements customer for years, but my recent visit to the Front Street South Philly location was extremely disappointing. I purchased a fruit arrangement and two cheesecakes — expecting the usual fresh, moist, and creamy desserts. Instead, the cheesecakes were hard, dry, and clearly not fresh. They tasted like they’d been sitting in the case far too long. To make matters worse, when I asked for a bag to carry my purchase, the young lady at the counter told me they didn’t have any bags. I was shocked — how does a store selling delicate fruit arrangements not have bags? After I questioned it, she went to speak with another employee. I couldn’t hear their conversation, but suddenly she did have a bag to give me. I offered to pay for it and even said she could keep the $2 tip I was going to give her, but she awkwardly replied, “Oh, I didn’t know we had those bags.” Really? That’s just dishonest. You did know — you just didn’t want to bother checking until you realized I wasn’t going to let it slide. Between the stale cheesecake and poor customer service, this location has completely lost my confidence. I’ll be taking my business to another Edible Arrangements from now on — one that values honesty and quality.

Over the years this franchise has consistently provided me with fresh fruit offerings for any occasion that I have needed. I went to the Front St today looking for a couple of fruit trays. Since none were ready and I had time to spare, I waited for them to make me a Summer Fruit tray. When they were finished the friendly staff allowed me to see it to assure it was fresh before wrapping it to go. It was an amazing looking tray! I have no idea why so many negative reviews. Seems like most people are just plain in a rush because they don't plan ahead or don't want to wait. That's not a business issue. It's a consumer issue. I'm sure these same ignorant consumers don't harass their local Post Office or Amazon with the same energy they give this company about availability or delivery. They did have plenty of selections available. I needed 2 trays and waited. This location is top notch and if you're not in a hurry or better yet order in advance you can get just an amazing looking product as I did. Kudos Edibles Front Street. I appreciate all you do. And thank you for my short notice request. Lol... I'll be sure to order in advance in the future.
