- DWDavon WeaverAug 9, 20251.0I’ll be done shopping at American Eagle. I tried to return clothes a week or two after buying them — unworn and with a receipt — and was told they wouldn’t take them back because of a return policy I was never told about and that clearly isn’t promoted well. Here’s the kicker what I was trying to return was a pair of pants they sold me without a tag in the first place. The cashier had to look it up when I bought them. Then, when I tried to return them, they refused because… they didn’t have a tag. Go figure.

I waited in line and had multiple people cut in front of me and were checked out before me by cashiers who could’ve cared less… I even waited patiently ‘in line’ despite this for an employee to walk away when it was my turn. Because of that I had to go the whole way to the back of another line when a different employee got on a register. The poor customer service makes me hesitant to return to this store.
