  We ask if they are open and they said yes, when we ask for a pair shoes the sales person said that she is closing, I can understand the closing times, but the store was open and she let us go in

  Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because at least the employees tried to help me (only after accusing me of stealing). I made an order online that fed Ex lost, and so after a long difficult process with customer service I was finally able to get a replacement pair shipped almost 2 months later. Once I did I discovered the product quality was much poorer than anticipated and so I had to attempt the return. When I get in store, the woman at the front tells me that she owes me 0 dollars, and that I needed to call customer service. I sat in the store for over 30 minutes trying to figure this out and ultimately they decided that I can leave my shoes at the store and they would give me my refund after the fact (but I was given no timeline, so I have to just hope that they’ll actually give me my 70$ back). When I tried to get clarification on the issue the woman at the store was not having any of it and I straight up almost cried. Not sure why she needed to be rude like that (I was extremely so very nice the entire time even though this process has been a nightmare for me). I will not be shopping here again :)

  I received boots as a Christmas present that didn't fit and when I went to exchange them at the outlets they didn't have my size boots there. The outlets game me store credit and I came to the kop mall location. They had the boots and as I went to check out they first denied a coupon I had that was active and it was an additional 20% off. Then I gave them my store credit receipt and they refused to use it and claimed that they do not accept store credit. As I was leaving the store I call the outlet location and spoke with the girl who gave the the store credit receipt. She was extremely pleasant and informed me that any Steve Madden store had to take store credit from Steve Madden. When I went back into the kop store the employee with attitude then allowed me to purchase my boots with my store credit. I received horrible customer service all because their employees were too lazy to type in 8 numbers.
