Great store, very friendly, if you are buying a firearm, just know they are overly thorough and it's an extremely slow process. I wouldn't buy a firearm ever again from here, but for other things, it's a solid place.

Went there to buy a gun. I put my name on the list and was next in line. The guy at the gun counter knew we were standing there waiting and totally ignored us and ask the person behinds us if they needed any help. Like, what the hell. I walked out and will never go back.

Everyone is very nice here, but the archery area of this store needs some training. Letting a younger boy pull back his very first compound without an arrow nocked, no knowledge on recurve whatsoever ever. Nice fellas, but need training.

Generally like shopping here, but I’ve come two times in the past two weeks seeing an item as in stock on the website and no one could find it when I came to buy it.
Edit: support got in touch super quick. Turns out “Limited stock” might just mean out of stock, so PSA.

My wife and I visited the Harrisburg location as we’ve shopped there before often.
I’m a “Club Member.”
I received a mailer advertising a “Club Member Loyalty Night.” It highlighted a giveaway of a Redhead Hunting Pack for the first 100 MEMBERS.
I walked next to the front of the line to see the progress. The fine print stated the pack was for “Club Members while supplies last…must be 18 years old or older.”
The associate was giving out the pack to everyone on line. He wasn’t checking so called members’ cards. He also clearly gave the pack out to kids in line who clearly were NOT 18. Had I been earlier in line, both my wife and I would have been given the pack. She is not a member.
It was poorly organized and the second time I allowed myself to be drawn by a giveaway. Had it been managed as the mailer stated, I definitely would have received a pack.
First time, shame on Bass Pro Shop. This time shame on me.
I will NEVER shop in Bass Pro Shop again. Thanks for ruining my birthday.
