WARNING: Massive Ethics Violation and Profiling at this Location I visited this store today (4/25) to purchase a pair of running shoes. While waiting in line to pay, an employee stared at me intensely and obviously for over five minutes. When I politely asked if he needed something, he was dismissive and defensive, saying, “I work here,” while rolling his eyes. Even after I paid in full (I have the receipt to prove it), he continued to watch me and radioed about my purchase to other staff, making me feel like a criminal for simply shopping. The situation escalated from poor service to a serious ethics violation after I left. I called the store to report the incident to management. Shortly after, the SAME employee I had complained about called my personal phone. He proceeded to gaslight me, calling me “paranoid” and claiming he wasn’t watching me, despite my girlfriend witnessing the behavior as well. When I asked for his name, he refused to provide it and pretended the call was "breaking up." He also said “why are you worried I think you are stealing if you aren’t?” Essentially trying to make a pathetic attempt to shift the blame. Using a customer's private contact information (from a rewards account or transaction) for an employee to call and settle a personal grievance is a massive breach of privacy and corporate policy. I have already filed a formal report with Syntrio, DSW’s third-party ethics compliance firm, to ensure this bypasses store-level management and reaches Corporate/Legal. There are numerous other reviews here describing similar behavior from this individual. If you value your privacy and don’t want to be profiled while spending your money, shop elsewhere. if you have a bad experience here, call SYNTRIO. They can actually do something. The employees will just try to bury it.

Absolutely horrible service here. Dealt with some guy who was literally the rudest nastiest person I've ever dealt with - I told him I wanted to file a complaint, and he said I'm the manager and just ignored me after shaking his head. Even made a nasty comment about me to a coworker as I stood right there...like I wasn't even there. DSW ....what are you doing?

Had a really bad experience here. Man, the employees here were really mean! They seemed put off if you asked any questions. I won't be back - very unprofessional staff. DSW needs to look into how this store is treating customers.

I love shopping at this location! I see customers upset about some employees' attitudes and angry about being asked for their information. We are coming into their environment, how about we stop leaving our messes all over the place, stop verbally attacking and threatening employees because you’re afraid they want to call you, what sense does that make They are just doing their jobs people! I’m sure we all have a Giant rewards card or a Wawa card? It’s 2026 stop being nasty to employees that are simply doing their jobs by asking for your phone number. If you don’t like it, call Doug Howe and talk to him about it. Your credit card that you're paying with has more information attached to it than a phone number.

The rudest service i have ever had. Checked out, was told "put in your phone number" bluntly and rudely. I said im good idea prefer not to give my number. Was you have to. I said I'd prefer not to. He spoke into his little microphone and announced i have a rude customer who wont put in his number. I said did you just call me rude for not putting my number in? Ignored me and again rolled his eyes and demanded my number I said no, I dont want to start getting calls. He rolled his eyes and said "I wont be calling you" I asked for his name 3 times and he ignored me. Then I asked for a manager and he said...im the manager. Dsw...this is your manager and how your customer service is????
