  I looked up designer shoes (red soles) online and then decided to try to go in store to see about trying them on to ensure they fit before dropping a good amount of money. The older gentleman shoe attendant rolled his eyes at me when I asked to see this shoe style, then disappeared into the back for about 10 minutes before coming out and telling me that the shoes were sold out in my size everywhere- Not just Nordstrom, everywhere. I pulled up the Nordstrom website and sure enough there are the shoes in my size, available to order. I could also order direct ftom the designer page no problem. Clearly this shoe does in fact exist. I have no idea why this sales person had zero interest doing his job. Instead I took my business to Mario's at Bridgeport Village where I was greeted with a smile, told I could order this shoe and was given the shoe style in a different color to try- on for fit. Mario's was awesome- go there instead if you're looking for good service and high end shoes.

  Needed a couple jackets for a trip to Montreal. I know nothing about fashion. Seth in men’s section helped me out and crushed the selection. I’m looking good and feeling confident.

  I ordered several dresses and a shirt specifically to wear to a baby shower, and the order confirmation indicated they would arrive before I flew out of town. Unfortunately, the items did not arrive in time. Since I was already away, I arranged for the package to be held at the store so it wouldn’t be left unattended on my porch. I was out of town for seven days and planned to pick up the items as soon as I returned. However, when I got back, I discovered that the order had already been returned before I had the chance to retrieve it—even though I had fully paid for everything. I’m extremely disappointed, as I made a good-faith effort to ensure the items were safely held and expected a reasonable pickup window. I would have really appreciated the option to extend the hold for a few extra days, especially given the circumstances. They would do nothing about it.

  Ate at the cafe. I was disappointed it's my favorite place for clam chowder but it was way too salty. I had to send it back
