  RUN, don’t walk, to the incredible cafe inside of Literary Arts! Every single item on the menu is delicious, and you can tell crafted with love. The drinks are inventive, the customer service is top notch, and you can’t beat the atmosphere. 10000/10 would recommend. Whether you’e visiting or a local, don’t sleep on this Portland hidden gem 💎

  Lovely from start to finish. My pastry and coffee from the cafe were perfect. The store is beautiful with an incredible selection. And the whole building is just mission oriented in the best way. We need more places like this in more cities. One of the parts of Portland I wished I could bring home in my pocket.

  Loved how the whole place looked and felt. A really great selection of books. Will definitely be going back and looking forward to trying the cafe next time too.

  I’m looking to sharpen my narrative skills for my next project and found a 10-week memoir workshop at Literary Arts (running Wednesdays, Feb 11 – April 1). The class is taught by Karleigh Frisbie Brogan, whom I’ve worked with before and found incredibly helpful for my process. Plus they have a coffee bar q good place to drive into a book or just get away from the world
