Last week I placed two orders- one large chocolate lovers tray for my parents for their anniversary - and a smaller one for myself. I rarely go out of my way to complain, however I was so disappointed with the quality of the items I received I did send them message asking for a refund. The strawberries were wilting and simultaneously not ripe. Pineapples were not ripe and tasted bland and dry. The apples had bruised holes in them that were obviously old. My tray was inedible, and I was horribly embarrassed by what was delivered to my parents. Edible responded to me offering to replace the orders to be delivered yesterday. I asked that they meet me halfway - refund the tray delivered to my parents as their anniversary is over, and I agreed to have them replace my order. Saturday came and went - no response, no delivery, no nothing. If they make this right I’ll update this review but for now I will never do business with them again and suggest no one else does either. Terrible food, terrible communication, terrible customer service.

They failed to deliver an edible arrangement but reported as delivered. No proof of delivery like a picture is captured, this seems like a no-brainer. No notification to the recipient even though they collect phone and email info for the recipient. No answer to an online “contact us” submission. Called the local number which goes direct to the call center. Had to select “update an order” to get a person, no option for “there is a problem with my order” No explanation given for delivery failure, probably because they have no idea. They basically just shrugged like “it happens”. Re-delivery was made out to be a big production. But it arrived after 10pm the next day after everyone was asleep so it sat on the porch all night. When I mentioned this to a friend, they reported having the same experience except couldn’t ever get ahold of anyone and eventually had to do a credit card dispute. The actual edible arrangements are great, too bad they are spoiled by the unreliable delivery. Avoid until they fix the following things: 1) Proof of delivery available online. 2) recipient gets notified of delivery unless the sender specifically opts out 3) answer the online contact me submissions 4) give an option for delivery issues in the phone tree.

I hate to do this but my in laws sent my daughter an arrangement when she was really sick. It came on a Sunday and I actually tasted mold. We tried to eat it but ultimately had to throw it out. Everything except for the strawberries tasted like mold. I didn’t give the company a call so they didn’t get a chance to fix it. For the money I’m sure my family paid it was just awful. I hate to say this because I don’t want to hurt small businesses but unless you are somehow sure they are giving you fresh fruit it isn’t worth it.
