I went up to the cashier to purchase it and she said "jeesh! ... is this for you?" followed by "you know this is an xl???" with laughter. Felt embarassed and judged. Other than that, many of the other workers are extremely kind and the store is neat :)

They have a pretty large inventory of jewelry. The selection was good. The atmosphere was quiet no pressure. I would buy from JCPenneys again. JCPennys is connected to the mall so if they dont carry what you are shopping for you can find it near by. JCPennys is located at Valley River Center which is a big mall so if you have a lot of shopping to do this place can be a one stop shopping location, but get there early! There are many stores and many things to see. Parking is pretty good. Around the holidays it gets pretty busy, but I have never had trouble finding a parking space. It's clean and they have a large food court, with all kinds of food to choose from. Like I said I have been there many times and I will return there many more im sure. I would recommend.

I watched several older people trying to get in or out of your doors which is not automatic. These individuals had to maneuver their wheelchair or walkers and saw it was very difficult for them. The doors are right next to your check out register none of the employees helped. Your isles are so crowded we get through them. Step up JC Penney and help your disabled.
