I tried returning something and even though I had the receipt AND the tag they would not allow me to return it because the tag was not still on it. On the bottom of the receipt it does not state that this is necessary, only that you need the receipt. Apparently, on the back of the receipt in fine print it states that the tags need to be attached. Well, who reads that and why isn’t stated on the front?! Also, they should mention that to customers before they leave the store. WHAT A SCAM! Now I’m stick with a sweater that is too small that I’ll never wear!

When I tried to exchange I was told that, even though I had a receipt, the price tag had been removed and therefore I could not return it. As a 50+ female I have been shopping for decades and never come across such a ridiculous policy. This is a paper tag that can be easily replaced, the receipt clearly shows I purchased the exact item. Also, the employees of the Eugene, OR store could do a better job of customer service. Both times I was there there and waiting in line to pay, there were 2 or 3 employees around the registers and they didn't jump in to help me and instead chose to let the one person handle everything. Please improve your customer service AE!! Your clothes are overpriced so if you don't have decent service, people will quit going there altogether!

- JJJPAug 25, 20251.0The clothes are all so cheaply made! The fit is horrendous for any woman over the age of 18 with actual hips. The dressing room was a total mess. The sales people basically ignored anyone over the age of 30. Guess what? People over 30 have actual money to spend. You might want to treat them decently or you’ll be out of business.
