  BEWARE OF JESSE and her irreprehensible, ghastly, egregious customer service. Yesterday(12/22/2025), my mother (who is in her mid 60s may I add) went to the Clackamas Lane Bryant at 5:15pm to pick up a $500+ order for me. Please note, I sent her with delivery confirmation from not only Lane Bryant but also Fed Ex (see images attached) that the package had arrived and been signed for at 11:01am by Smith ( note signed for at 11am and my mother went at 5:15pm). I received/overheard the most disturbing phone call. Not only did I hear Jesse call my mother a liar and say the package was not there, that Fed Ex had made a mistake and they always do this; henceforth, I also hear Jesse tell my mother " well, it's not here and I don't know what to tell you." Not once did my mother raise her voice at her; however, I could verbally hear my mother was becoming embarrassed as this employee spoke to her in an irreprehensible, disprespectful, deplorable manner. My mother showed her both the confirmation from FedEx, and the confirmation from Lane Bryant, to which Jesse told my mother, "thats wrong." My mother then asked her, was she irritated, was she bothering her. My mother noted that it was obvious that she was flustered and upset, but all my mother was attempting to do, was pick up an order for her daughter (myself). Jesse continued her tirade of atrociously appalling monstrous customer service by telling my mother and I quote " Well I can't help it. I can't help the things I say and I can't help my face, because I have A.D.D and I have a kid and so that's just how I am. " Now as an ally and a person who has family members and associates who have a plethora of disabilities ( one of those being attention deficit disorder), this is not an excuse for her abysmally pitiful service. Not only did she make zero effort to actually look and locate the package/box, she spoke to an elderly woman in a lamentable way. The ONLY saving grace was keyholder Lalani stepping in to go look for the box ( which she located IMMEDIATELY). The next words from Jesse to my mother were " Oh great now she's going to make me eat crow" as she rolls her eyes and gasp as if she is so exasperated from being asked to do her job. Lalani stepped in and finished the transaction and helped my mother bring the box to the car and I would like to extend my sincere appreciation and thank you to Lalani. As far as Jesse, I am flabbergasted that this is the type of behavior/customer service that is tolerated by Lane Bryant. Jesse is a walking/talking liability who has no concept of accountability or customer service. Jesse should be fired and work in a field where basic human decency and respect is not a requirement because she lacks the basic common skills to do such. If you choose to go out of this location, please beware of her. From reading other reviews, it doesn't seem like i'm the only one who has experienced this type of service at this location.

  To preface this bad review, I've been shopping at Lane Bryant for 30 years. What happened to Lane Bryant? They used to have clothes gear towards the glamorous: Everything was chic, and fashionable, but now, it seriously looks like a high end second-hand store! I wish I was exaggerating. The ENTIRE store is just a bunch of Disney Cruise Wear for plus size people. Rinse... Then repeat in another color. There's NOTHING Glamorous anymore. There's Nothing that is fashion- conscientious anymore. This is like shopping for Walmart wear, at Lane Bryant prices -and it's really disappointing, if you are plus size, and love fashion. I know this review is not going to go farther than the owner, and I really don't need a generic, canned-response, like, "We are so sorry that your expectations were not met." Instead, forward this to Lane Bryant corporate, and tell them that THIS is the reason why no one shops at Lane Bryant: There's nothing unique. There's nothing fun... It's all pastel crap, with awful prints that were meant to hide our bodies - not flatter them. It's a Karen Soccer Mom's wet dream, but Most of us don't want to look like Karen-Soccer-Moms, thank you very much. It wasnt always like this: Back in the 90's, Lane Bryant made some REALLY cute, unique pieces - I used to get a paper catalog, and I couldn't wait for new collections to come out! Please, for the love of God, fire the designers you have now. Hire someone who has a singular clue about what people are wearing. These clothes are just... Lazy, and ugly, at high prices. Your shoppers may be plus sized, but they still want to look chic, and cute, in flattering clothes. I'm so disappointed.
