Sportsman’s Warehouse in Bend, Oregon, is a pretty easy place to like. It has that straightforward outdoor store feel without coming off too polished or fake. The layout is simple enough to move through without getting annoyed, and there is usually a good mix of hunting, fishing, camping, and general outdoor gear. Whether you are stopping in for something specific or just walking around to see what they have, it feels relaxed and easygoing. The store feels clean, which helps when you are browsing for a while. What stood out most was that the store felt well stocked without feeling cluttered. That balance matters. Some outdoor stores either feel half empty or jammed with random gear, but this one seemed put together in a way that made sense. The staff were helpful too. Not pushy, not hovering, just available when needed, which honestly makes for a better shopping experience. It is not some flashy destination, and that is kind of the point. It feels practical, steady, and useful. If you live in Central Oregon or are passing through Bend and need outdoor gear, it is a solid stop. Good selection, decent atmosphere, and a mellow overall vibe that makes it easy to come back.

This location has to have the worst training and poor attiudes. Jafeema in customer service is horrible. If you must shop at a sportsmans. The other locations are much better with their customers. I canceled my purchase after the poor service and shitty treatment.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Play Games the third time you lose veterans ever wanting to buy another firearm from you forever…. This veteran will never ever shop at your store ever again. Especially not at the store in Bend, OR….. I could go on about how I was disrespected today. And I do mean seriously disrespected by your manager in the firearms department. I served honorably in the United States Army, and then honorably in the United States, Marine Corps and retired. The unprofessionalism by their staff and their firearm salesman named Jack goes far beyond the pale. And when I say goes beyond the pale, I do mean it goes beyond the pale. And then your sales person named Jack telling me to go to “Bi-Mart” Because he screwed up on his instructions over the paperwork and on their pad that was not working properly., to then purchase the same exact weapon is seriously stupid on any employee working with licensed federal firearms………No schitter” So now this Veteran, this Disabled Veteran that has served honorably in two different branches of our military is now not allowed to Purchase ammunition or a firearm at any sportsman’s warehouse stores for the next 30 days Because their iPad and instruction by salesmen was far below professional…..violating this veterans second amendment rights under the United States constitution all because of their sales person and their iPad software not working properly. Do you really want to shop at a place that violates honorably discharge veterans that serve their country that violates their second amendment rights because their iPad is not working properly and because their sales person is not giving proper instructions. I would say that’s a strong know by everyone…… I would not trust the firearms department at the Bend Sportsman’s Warehouse store or any of Sportsmen’s Warehouse other stores with a thumbtack…….due to a lack of common sense. And I do mean that most sincerely……. You are better off shopping at your local firearms dealers for hunting supplies. You lost out on about $10,000………. And probably another 50,000 that I would’ve purchased over the years you lost all that. SEMPER FI

I think im done shopping here. The guys at the firearms department at worthless. Never had a pleasant experience, but after standing at the optics counter with my family for about 15 min waiting to ask a question when the guy was done with whatever he was doing (no customers). But he would look at us then walk in the other direction. I Was about to spend 800$ on a optic but no one seemed to want to help me. We drove all the way from Lapine to just get ignored, so as irritated as I was, I left. While sitting in the parking lot, I decided to maybe just call and ask if they had what I was looking for to a similar model that they had behind the glass. They did not. But Over the phone, his tone of voice was obvious that he did not want to help anybody, and he was irritated that I was even asking. Id rather drive the 3hrs and go to the medford location where everyone is eager to help and has a pleasant personality. Always weird and awkward at the bend location gun department

Waited 2 hrs in line just to get ignored. Discussing heart surgery is more important than making a sale I guess.
