  Always love shopping here. The clothes feel like home , and I love when they get the sales on . Great quality clothes and styles are extremely creative .

  I had an awesome customer service experience with Jake at American Eagle in Conestoga Mall, Waterloo. He asked all the right questions to help me pick out several of Christmas gifts and gave great suggestions based on what I told him. He was super friendly and really knew his stuff, which made the whole shopping trip enjoyable. Definitely recommend shopping there — and make sure you ask for Jake!

  Today I had the pleasure of being Daniella’s customer here at American eagle. I had lost a bunch of weight and none of my jeans fit me and I came in feeling discouraged and needing new jeans. I started off feeling helpless and not confident in being able to find new jeans. Then Daniella started helping me. She spent over an hour helping me find 3 perfect pair of jeans and I left with the biggest smile on my face. She was kind, respectful, caring, and truly wanted to help me feel confident again. I have never been so happy with customer service in my life. To Daniella, thank you so much for helping me get my confidence back and continue being you. Your amazing! Thank you for your help you have no idea how much it meant to me and I hope others get the pleasure of being helped by her. Definitely will be coming back and requesting her help again! :)

  I have been to this location several times over the last year and every time I enter the store I am ignored. This store is always well staffed but rarely do they acknowledge you’re there, even if there are no other customers. I asked one manger a simple question and she didn’t even look me in the face when she answered dismissively. I’m always polite as I have worked retail before. Not sure if the work atmosphere is just negative or if everyone happens to be in a bad mood on the days I’ve shopped. “Hi and bye” are the bare minimum in any service job. Customer service starts at management.

  I had a great shopping experience thanks to Luke! He was incredibly attentive from the moment I walked in. I was having trouble finding my size in a particular pair of jeans, and Luke went above and beyond to help — even tracking down the very last pair in my size. Throughout the interaction, he was friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude. His smile and positive energy really made a difference. Thanks, Luke, for making my day and helping me leave with exactly what I was looking for!
