  Came in today to return an item within its return policy with no damage or signs of wear but a person, I’m assuming the manager was a bit inconsiderate. I’ve lost the tag, they’re flimsy, small an easy to lose. She didn’t offer an exchange or credit. Was a flat out no. This store isn’t quite the same anymore.

  I’ve had multiple uncomfortable experiences at the Aerie location in Conestoga Mall due to the behaviour of the Asian girl. She consistently comes across as rude and unwelcoming not only toward customers, but also it seems like she is not professional or supportive to employees. The atmosphere she creates is uncomfortable and unwelcoming, to the point where I no longer feel at ease shopping at this location. It’s disappointing because I love Aerie as a brand, but this store has made the experience unpleasant enough that I would rather go out of town to shop at another location. Customer service should feel respectful and welcoming, and unfortunately that hasn’t been my experience here. It’s very clear she is the issue at this store as another review has stated that this girl is rude and there’s other bad reviews about how staff treat people at this store.

  Hey Aerie Conestoga, I’m one more bad experience away from coming in and training all your staff for you! These girls don’t know how to speak, let alone provide customer service. Step one: Greet customers that you make eye contact with as they walk in. Let them know of any promotions. When you see a customer trying to find a size with one hand because the other is holding 5 pieces of clothing that no one has offered a dressing room for, help them grab their size! Pay attention to the people who walk to the dressing rooms because they’re gunna want to try things on! Hey, maybe even bring them some pieces you think they would like! With 6 employees working, this is the basic customer service you should receive.
