Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

The first girl who helped me was a white woman with black hair, glasses, and a navy fitted jacket. She told me the original sweater I bought wasn’t made anymore, which I understood, but she left out important details and rushed through everything. She told me the only option was a plain sweater and that Lululemon doesn’t sell sweaters with gold zippers anymore. She also said I had to buy something else to match the price difference, which didn’t make sense because every other time I’ve done a Quality Promise exchange, the balance goes onto a gift card. She kept asking other workers for help while helping me, so it was clear she didn’t fully know what she was doing, and her tone made me feel brushed off and kind of stupid. When I stepped away and looked around, I ended up talking to another worker who was way kinder. While talking with her, I noticed there were fitted sweaters with gold zippers available, even though the first girl told me there weren’t any. The second worker handled everything correctly and gave me a gift card for the price difference, which I later used.
