I’ve given the Vaughn location many chances, it has time and time again fallen short across many departments. The layout and inventory management of the store is not very good. Things are never in stock and staff in the firearms department. Some are not knowledgable at all. It seems like they’re understaffed across most departments. If you want good service and knowledgable people, I would highly recommend going to the Barrie location. Avoid coming here at all cost when you’re run into a busy day Vaughan Mills parking lot is also a nightmare.

Can’t speak for the whole store but very unsatisfied with your firearms section. Asked the gentleman for help just to get black powder And some other odds and ends. Told me sure hold on one second 10 minutes later I was told to get a number waited for 22 minutes. Not one of the staff asked me If there was something quick, they could assist me with. 30 minutes later the number hadn’t even moved once and I was three numbers out. You guys really need some better staffing to help the quick In-N-Out customers.. I get somebody who is purchasing a $700 gun and that would probably take priority over my $75 powder but I put down $1300 in total merchandise. Too bad I really like the store.

(I realized that this review was supposed to be for niagara on the lake store, I apologize for that.) When I try to return a reel that I bought a day ago , and explained the lady what was wrong with it ,the lady was stalling the return by saying that someone has to look at it. Only when I confronted her that they have a policy to take stuff back she did do the return. I never had any issues with bass pro ,not that I buy and return stuff but generally very helpful, this lady seemed like she picked up on my accent or something ,it was off. Be aware of your rights when shopping and don't be intimidated by these people.

I was looking to place an online order for a carrying case and some other items. There was an issue online stating that my "Postal Code" did not exist in their system and shipping was my only option. I did what was recommended and called Bass Pro to place the order over the phone as they can manually enter Postal Codes that override system errors. I was on the phone for half an hour with a lady who collected all of my information, SKU numbers, address, etc only for her to tell me she cannot over-ride the Postal Code and have it shipped to me. She said she would contact IT to have this fixed and would call me back in 2 hours. It's now 2 days later and no call back, nothing. What a shame of a company to waste a customers time and energy twice and not even have the courtesy to call back. Not dealing with Bass Pro again, will take my business elsewhere to someone more respected.

If you're going to buy something from bass pro, make sure you go to the store and get it yourself. I ordered something online for the first time from Bass pro shops (since there was free shipping on the long weekend for orders over $49, and the closest Bass pro to me is over an hour drive one way ). Ordered two 25" ice fishing rod and reel combos that took over a week to arrive... And when it did arrive, there was a single 32" rod in the box from a different brand than what what I ordered....and that's it. Not sure how they could have mistaken a single 32" rod for two 25" rod and reel combos from a completely different brand? Then I called customer service and they tell me that the order came from Ottawa ( I'm from Ontario ), yet the sticker on the box says it came from the returns department from Alberta ( Cabela's ). So obviously no one knows what's going on, where it came from or anything.... So now I gotta wait at least another week for them to re ship the correct order ( hopefully ), and go to the post office to send the wrong rod back. And I can't even go to the store that's a hour away from my place to get it myself ( so I know I am getting the correct items ), because they don't have any in stock. Originally was buying these to take my ten year old daughter ice fishing for the first time and now it's a waiting game to see if we even get them in time to get out on the ice. Definitely won't be ordering anything online from them again. I understand mistakes happen.... If they sent two combos of a different brand or something. But when it's one rod when there was suppose to be two rods and two reels, and then customer service says it came from one location but the paper work says it came from a totally different province....just shows that it isn't just a poor shipping department from where it was sent from, it also shows that Bass pro as a company has a poor logistics team for any type of order tracking. From now on, if I can't get it in store myself, then I won't bothering getting it at all.... I will just look for a different product from a different store.
