  Incredibly rude and fatphobic staff. I asked about *longer* (not larger) coats and was told, “for your size, it’ll be longer.” Of course, as you go up in size things fit a little longer, but I was asking for a long coat. When I clarified, she looked me up and down, very annoyed and said they didn’t have anything “in my size” even though I didn't tell her what size I was looking for. I wasn’t shocked because fatphobic comments at Holts are sadly common but I was annoyed, because I would have bought a coat if she’d simply done her job and shown me a longer coat. Instead, I just purchased online and found the perfect coat but I prefer to shop in-person but sadly, I can't because they don't have anything "in my size".

  I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I had nothing but great service at Max Mara. The manager, Maysaloon greeted me with another manager and I immediately felt welcomed. They were informative and patient. I was then helped by Olena/Elena (long blonde hair) and she was amazing. I made my purchase and can’t wait to come back for more down the road. Please don’t let the poor reviews deter you. I had a great experience with everyone in the store.

  worst customer service, i needed help to fix my coat but all they suggested was patch it and saying my coat is “overused” or just hide w my bag etc. and treating my coat very poorly when handling, i felt no respect. I’m not sure because i’m a student but no excuses in any poor treatment.

  Vilest bunch of sales associates ever. Shopped there twice and both times very poor experiences with the staff. Both times they were insisting that damaged items they had for sale were perfectly good. But generally so unpleasant no wonder the place is deserted
