Unfortunately, this experience made it clear that both have significantly gone downhill. I purchased a pair of leggings online on sale that arrived already pilled straight out of the bag. I only noticed once I tried them on, as the pilling became visible when the fabric was stretched. When I brought them into the store, I had to argue that the leggings were brand new, and the associate was visibly frustrated that the tag was no longer attached, despite this typically not being an issue with Lululemon when there is a quality concern. While an exchange was eventually offered, I was limited to the only two remaining sale options, neither of which were appealing options. I was told that if I wanted a different color or style at full price, I would need to pay the difference, and that I could not wait for another option or exchange online. For leggings that cost nearly $100 (normally $150) and arrived defective, this resolution felt extremely stingy and inflexible. I won’t be shopping here anymore.

Instead, I got an attitude and a lesson that their “quality promise” is basically 12 months and good luck. Not the ‘luxury’ experience I expected… more like a subscription to replacing basics. Can’t wait to tell all my clients, friends and family to never purchase anything from Lulu again.
