I have been a regular customer at Fika cannabis store for quite some time, living right across the street and frequently placing online orders for convenient pickup. I am about 6 feet tall, with a dark beard and some gray hair—there is no way I appear underage. In my more than 25 previous visits, I have never once been asked for ID nor have i witnessed the staff ask for an id from the other customers while i was present.
However, during my recent visit, I encountered a new customer service representative who had trouble locating my order. I was patient and polite but things took a turn when she insisted on seeing my ID, which I didn't have with me. Even after showing her my banks debit card with my name matching the order, she refused to hand over my purchase.
I then told her I was willing to abandon my online order and instead buy something directly in-store as a regular customer but she denied me service there too. Her tone felt needlessly authoritative, as if she was trying to assert power rather than help a loyal customer. While I understand the legal obligation to verify ID, her sudden strictness and uncooperative attitude felt inconsistent, disrespectful and unnecessary.
This kind of treatment has made me feel undervalued despite my loyalty. If no corrective action is taken to improve these interactions, I will seriously reconsider continuing to shop at Fika.

WARNING!!! My experience at this dispensary was deeply disappointing due to the shameful unprofessional behavior of certain staff members. What should have been a respectful, customer-focused environment instead revealed clear signs of jealousy, hostility, and discriminatory conduct. It’s unfortunate to see personal insecurities and unprofessional attitudes overshadow what could be a great establishment.
Management should seriously evaluate their hiring standards and workplace culture , professionalism and respect should never be optional in customer service. Who knows maybe they’ve been using too much of their own supply. Until improvements are made, I strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

I've been coming to this location a little over 2 years since they opened and I've always had a great experience. Emily has helped me out the last several visits and I couldn't be happier with her recommendations. She seems very knowledgeable in everything from different strains, candies & accessories.
