Their service is disappointing along with the quality of the product. I bought leggings (about $135-140) and wore it less than 10 times and recently discovered a slight hole to it. They would do nothing at all and both managers were not helpful at all. No wonder they have 2.5 stars as a rating. This is my first and last impression of alo, and I had much better service at lululemon when it comes to product quality control.
I’m very hesitant on trying their product again, due to this experience. Their clothing shouldn’t rip easily to begin with.
Took about an hour to get here due to traffic, and it was most definitely a waste of a trip.

Went to this store yesterday I saw a bag I liked and wanted to purchase it. As soon as I held up the bag to look at it the salesperson grabbed it off my had and said "you're not allowed to touch this! because it might get OIL"
So rude!!!! So upsetting. Such bad customer service!!!!
I will report this to the head office. I will never buy ALO products again!!!

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. The management and customer service are extremely disappointing. As someone new to shopping at ALO, I was genuinely excited about the brand. I love Lululemon and expected ALO to be a more elevated version of that experience.
I was encouraged to shop the 30% pre Black Friday sale online, so I purchased items for myself and Christmas gifts for family members. I’ll admit fault for not reading the return policy closely, but when a company advertises pre Black Friday sales, it’s reasonable to assume exchanges would be allowed after Christmas…especially when the exchange attempt wasn’t long after the holiday.
All I wanted was a size exchange for the same item and colour. I wasn’t asking for a refund. Instead, I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do because the items were ordered online/internationally and outside their strict return window. No effort was made to help, no alternatives were offered, and I wasn’t even given a phone number or anyone to escalate the issue to. This was after I drove two hours specifically to visit the store.
For a brand that promotes yoga, mindfulness, and intentional living, ALO seriously needs to reflect those values in their customer service and hiring practices. I managed in a high end retail brand for over 10 years and size exchanges for unworn items with tags attached were absolutely possible. I fully understand not receiving a refund, but refusing a simple size exchange is unacceptable.
So thank you, ALO for not only for selling items that can’t be worn, but for ruining a Christmas gift due to poor management and inflexible company policies. I will never shop with ALO again.
We left the store and went straight to Aritzia, where we purchased a sweatsuit for half the price and noticeably better quality. Lululemon and Aritzia both outperform ALO in quality and customer experience. This brand seems to survive solely on influencer marketing.
Save your money.
Oh, last but not least I had several people warn me about shopping with ALO. I was told customer service in store and online were extremely rude. Items friends have purchased washed poorly and many stated you could find the same items at Walmart without the ALO yoga.
