  Had a really disappointing experience at the ALO Yorkdale store. I asked Kenny (the manager) for a different size in a sweater, and the way he spoke to me was honestly shocking. He acted like I was bothering him, was super rude, and even rolled his eyes at me. It felt so disrespectful and completely unnecessary. I’ve never had an employee, let alone a manager, treat me like that. Definitely not the kind of customer service you expect from ALO, and it really ruined my visit 💔 bye ALO.

  I've heard and read such bad reviews at this location and wanted to check it out for myself. Unfortunately, the reviews are on point :( We flagged down a sale associate and requested a size. He gave us the wrong item in the wrong size. He told us that the store is crazy and it's overwhelming. We asked if he can check for any other sizes or colors ..... however, he was too busy flirting with another staff member and ignored us while we stood there. We just left. Please train your staff.

  I came in just to return an item and left $720 lighter — thanks entirely to DIKSHA. She has a rare combination of honesty, a sharp eye for style, and exceptional people skills. Within minutes, she found pieces I never would have considered but loved and purchased. While two other associates were complaining about a busy environment and being short/somewhat rude with customers waiting for changerooms, Diksha navigated the situation with grace and leadership - keeping others focused on helping customers while staying upbeat, welcoming, and creating a positive experience. She’s professional, intuitive, and clearly adds real value to the Yorkdale store. Diksha is a standout — the kind of person who elevates the entire brand experience and absolutely deserves recognition. Diksha - thank you for helping me - I loved your suggestions, including how to style the pieces. I hope you are aware of how tremendously talented and bright you are! I'm confident you will go far in life so be sure to reach for the stars. All the best!

  I went into ALO today to shop and it was crazy as it was the first day of sale, super understandable but, when I asked this one worker (for context last time I went there this same situation happened with her again) small girl with ombré hair, if they had another size in a item she said she would ask the back to check and to give her some time, 30 minutes went by and I had gone up to her and said, if you do not want to help us, or are to busy, let us know so we can ask someone else. She said “um..what are you looking for?” I looked at her and told her about the sweatpants, she looked lost…? My boyfriend then went up to her and she had recognized him, but not me? And said “oh it’s sold out” we went up to another worker super pretty and kind I wish I got her name, she was greeting, curly hair, pretty makeup, she got the so called item “that was sold out, but took 30 minutes to find” and gave it to us. I don’t understand this service, as I said I understood it was busy but I told her if she was too busy, overwhelmed, or didn’t have time to help us to tell us so we could stop waiting around and buy it online or ask someone else. This is the second time this has happened with this girl, seems like she’s just lazy at her job. (Update the employee who gave us a super positive experience after all of that is named Tamara!!! Ask for her, she is kind and will take the time to help).

  Service in that mall is horrible.. if you're lucky you will not get profiled by race.. some employees while assisting will tell you "you're too dark for bright colours" Management takes 2 mths to resolve issues in there, and Andrea the GM makes matters worse when she cannot come to terms with myself so she makes her team.do her dirty work as in compensate or resolve issues with the store/phone.. No wonder some ppl go back to lulu.. Alo YD has poor communication and lacks it too.. they messg you back by wats app lol very professional...and Mgr will not return calls on behalf of thr company.. when you phone customer service, they're just as bad LOL they do not handle Canadians only US... first and last... what an embrassment on the establishment. If thr upper management of ths store does not give a shit, their employees a will be trained the same way!!!! This store discriminates... poor service.. insulting.. as a customer I went in there to spend.... after 2mths, they said here we are sorry here is a 50.00 gift card Lol... i told them to keep it.. not worth the embrassement I encountered in Alo YD location... you go in with a smile and come out stressed! And the GM refused to speak or even a apology.. nor does she discuss with her staff.. all clueless.. go get training from Lululemon!!!!
