I recently visited the Valentino showroom and, unfortunately, left quite disappointed with the service from one of the staff members, Andrew. While most of the team was polite and professional, my interaction with him felt dismissive and somewhat uncomfortable. When my wife and I asked for assistance with sizes, he seemed disinterested and barely engaged with us. At one point, he even left us mid-conversation to attend to other customers, which felt quite disrespectful. I also had to ask multiple times for water before he finally handed us a bottle and even then, it was cold despite the chilly weather. I can’t say for sure what the reason behind his attitude was, but it did feel like we were being treated differently compared to other customers. It left us with a poor impression, which is disappointing considering Valentino’s reputation for excellence. Thankfully, the other staff members were courteous and welcoming, which I appreciated.

I recently visited a Valentino store and was disappointed by the overall experience. The ambiance felt unwelcoming, and the staff did not engage or offer assistance in the way I would expect from a luxury brand. Compared to other luxery houses, where the service is warm, attentive, and inviting, Valentino fell short. Unfortunately, the lack of hospitality and friendliness made me feel more like an outsider than a valued client. For a brand of this caliber, I had hoped for a much higher level of service and atmosphere.

This experience has changed the way I view Valentino — and not in a good way. After my order was lost during shipping, I expected the situation to be handled swiftly and professionally. DHL, the carrier, confirmed the loss immediately and advised that Valentino needed to process the refund. What followed was weeks of silence, confusion, and constant chasing — not what you'd expect from a luxury brand that claims to stand for excellence. I submitted every document requested. I followed up multiple times. And yet, it took nearly two months of persistent effort just to receive a resolution. There was no urgency, no ownership, and no real sense of care throughout the process. What should have been a simple matter turned into a draining and disappointing experience. Valentino’s brand represents quality, prestige, and trust — but when things went wrong, none of that was reflected in how I was treated. The lack of responsiveness, the delayed action, and the emotional toll it took were deeply frustrating. I’m sharing this because I believe future customers deserve to know that if something goes wrong with your order, you may be left completely unsupported. Luxury is more than a label — it’s about how a brand treats its customers when problems arise. In my case, Valentino fell far short of that standard. Update: I’ve seen the response from Valentino asking me to use their online form. I’d like to clarify that , I’ve already contacted customer service multiple times, submitted every document requested, and followed up repeatedly — including through your form. I only received a refund after nearly two months of being ignored. This review is not a request for more support — it’s to warn future customers about the lack of accountability and slow service if something goes wrong. I hope Valentino takes this as a reminder to improve the customer experience, not just protect public image.

Valentino is supposed to represent class and sophistication, yet the behavior of the staff (particularly security) was anything but. Treating potential customers this way is a sure way to ruin the brand’s image. I will not be returning to this location and I sincerely hope management takes this issue seriously and addresses it immediately.
