  I have shopped at the Sporting Life store in Hillcrest Mall tor many many years. The staff especially the manager Winston has always been exceptional 👏! He has made our experience absolutely wonderful! Wherever I have an issue or concern he has ALWAYS looked after us and made us feel valued in his store. I would just like to thank Winston for his courteous attention to his customers and his polite and respectful mannerisms that make him an outstanding asset to his company. I have recommended him to both family and friends and hopefully the Sporting Life family will acknowledge the benefits of having Winston as an outstanding asset to their company .

  Chris is awesome in helping us find the right size for the running shoes, absolutely a 5 star. However, David is not and clearly he felt we were an inconvenience to him, maybe the store should stop paying him as he’s not doing what he’s hired to do, I wonder what else he’s good at. The manager is awesome though, very pleasant to chat. It would have been a usual 5 star sporting life experience if David wasn’t part of it.

  Refused to offer customer service to me. No one asked if I was looking for something specific, or if I needed assistance. But they managed to send their customer service staff to follow me without engaging? Throughout the entire store to ensure I wasn’t stealing? Classless, blatant racism. If that’s company policy, you’re centuries behind. The Markham and Sherway locations are better anyway.

  I had such a great experience at the store thanks to one of the associates (Sree). From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly helpful, attentive, and patient. She took the time to explain the differences between the shoes and gave me detailed information about which styles are best for different purposes. It made the decision so much easier and helped me feel confident in my purchase. It’s rare to receive this level of customer service, and I really appreciate the extra effort she put in.

  Tonight I had a very unpleasant shopping experience at your store. I purchased two helmets and two pairs of goggles. Before paying, I confirmed that the two helmets had different prices. At checkout, I specifically asked the cashier (Heidi) whether there was an extra 10% discount on the items. She told me there was no extra discount and then carelessly scanned the same helmet twice. I pointed out that the other helmet had a different price and that another staff member had told me it was 50% off. She then scanned the two different items again, but still insisted there was no extra discount. Since I didn’t want to argue further, I completed the purchase. However, after I got home, I checked online and found that ALL the items I purchased had an extra 10% discount available online, with in-store pickup offered at the same location. This means I could have received the discount at the store as well. It was very frustrating to have to waste my time going back to the store because the cashier did not provide accurate information and handled the transaction carelessly. I hope the store can provide better staff training to ensure customers receive correct pricing and promotions in the future.
