  Great ae store, the staff are great, Hayden was very helpful in getting me set up with a couple of pairs of jeans

  Went shopping with my girlfriend who is a smaller person, and is a size “small” in quite literally every piece of clothing. She picked out a sports bra she liked and was berated by the cashier. She repeatedly asked her if she was sure that she was a size small, after saying that yes she was sure no less than four times the cashier then went into detailing the return policy several times as well. I understand that there is a line between helping the customer out with sizing and returns but the treatment she received was borderline harassment about her physical appearance.

  I give a zero star if possible The managers at this store the two females that were there were absolutely absurd. I bought a $300 outfit. It didn’t fit right all tags were wrong but when I tried the pants on one tag came off the sewing on tags were all there all three of them. The one with the little plastic clip came off. She said she wouldn’t return it because the plastic clip came off. They were still freshly pressed. Never worn tried them on for two seconds didn’t fit. She would only return the top half of the outfit not the pants. She told me the tag needed to be on. She didn’t care how it was on as long as I put it on before I came back. I bought a tag machine put it on went back in today and the guy was gonna return them, but there’s one girl is so anal she started whispering on her microphone, telling him not to do it because she remembered me from before I will never shop here again and I advise anyone else go to a different American eagle but don’t go to the one in the Peterborough mall they’re ridiculous. Every girl in there has serious issues.

  Just left this store and honestly was so dissapointed that I seriously contimplated not even purchasing. There was 4 - 5 sales associates in the store at the time. And not one decided to greet me or even nod in my direction and I shopped for Atleast 20 min. I stood in the changeroom area for a few minutes waiting for an associate to get me a change room to which I then gave up and just went in. I was trying on bathing suits and had my husband grabbing me sizes and giving me input to which he was then informed he wasn't allowed in the changeroom area. Really? Don't we live in a world of unisex changerooms? Like old navy, urban planet etc? I've never heard of this rule and thought it was stupid. It wasn't like he was in the changeroom with me!! My husband felt like a creep and left the store. The associate who asked him to leave never thought to ask me how I was doing or if I needed sizes... I did.... Or I don't know to maybe SAY HI! after I walked out I didn't know where my husband went so I was looking for him.... Within the store mind you as I continued to look around (at clothes) I was made to feel like I was being watched oddly. While a girl.. Who also didn't say a word folded the same pair of underwear 10 times while staring at me. I've worked in retail as a manager and know the ins and outs what's expected and what's not. Unfortunately I left your store with a terrible taste in my mouth and will not be going out of my way to go back. Maybe teach your staff some common manners... Like hi. . Welcome to our store.... They missed huge oppertunities to upsell as I was looking to buy more but needed sizes in the changeroom.
