  Had a really poor experience at the L.L.Bean Trainyards Ottawa store. I bought a sweater marked 60% off but was charged the wrong price. When I returned, the cashier initially insisted it was only 30% off, then confirmed it was 60% but didn’t apologize and was dismissive throughout. The interaction felt rude and unprofessional with her rolling her eyes. When I raised it with the manager who interfered, he defended the behavior, made excuses like she had worked all weekend and was European (!), and even followed me out of the store continuing the conversation after I asked him to stop. Being overcharged is one thing how it was handled was the real issue. I won’t be returning.

  We come to the store to try. They have about 15 relatively good wool sweaters but there is no medium (most often size) to try. Do they care about customers? Not at all. I came back home and ordered from Amazon.

  The store location is a bit outside the downtown city area but if you don't mind doing the drive, they have a nice selection from what you would find on their online store platform
