  My wife had a very disappointing experience in this store. She saw a bag displayed in the Clearance section. Another customer had looked at two bags, chose one, and put the other back on display. When my wife tried to take it, the cashier (or possibly the manager) took it out of her hands, saying it was “reserved” for someone else — even though that same customer had just placed it back. The MK employee didn’t even look at her and insisted that it was the last one and that it was reserved, without giving any proper explanation, then walked away. My wife felt that this situation was a form of discrimination — something you never expect to experience in a store.

  Si il y'avait 0 étoile je l'aurais mis, aujourd'hui je vois un sac en vitrine Clearance une dame là vu ainsi qu'un autre sac a gardé celui qu'elle voulais et aretourné le deuxième, je le prend et là la caissière ou manager je ne sais me le retire de la main pour dire qu'il est réservé pour une autre personne alors que cette personne là c'est elle qui la remis dans la vitrine, la dame employé MK me regarde même pas et me dit quelqu'un là mis par erreur là bas je lui explique que non c'est la cliente pour qui vous dite qu'il est réservé qu'il a remis et ben mme me dit c'est le dernier il est réservé je n'ai pas autre chose et pars, je n'ai jamais imaginé pouvoir vivre une chose de la pure DISCRIMINATION.

  All these bad reviews are completely warranted. You're probably better off getting good deals online, as the prices in there were abysmal for an 'outlet' experience. The staff completely ignored me, so don't expect them to help you out unless you go out of your way to bother them. Wouldn't come here again

  Very Very BAD -- At Tanger outlets Ottawa- If I had the option to give zero stars for this service, I absolutely would — but unfortunately I’m forced to give at least one. What kind of pathetic and unprofessional staff are you hiring at your outlets? That lady had the audacity to literally snatch the jacket out of my hand without a single word of basic courtesy. No “excuse me,” no “may I,” nothing at all. Just rude, arrogant behavior — as if she owns the place. If this is the standard of MK employees, then you seriously need to retrain your staff or replace them with people who at least know the meaning of manners and customer service. Luxury brands don’t become “luxury” by hiring cheap, ill-mannered employees who don’t even know how to deal with customers respectfully. I visited your MK outlet today and had one of the most disrespectful experiences ever. I picked up a jacket, tried it on, and had already finalized it for purchase. I was still exploring other options in the store with my boyfriend — the jacket was literally in my hand the whole time. Out of nowhere, one of your staff members (an extremely rude Young lady with colored hair, looked like she was Iranian) came up to me and snatched the jacket straight out of my hand without even asking. No “excuse me,” no “may I take it for billing,” nothing. Just grabbed it and walked off to put it behind the cashier’s counter. And the only thing she said was, “Do you want to buy it?” When I replied that I was still looking for something else, she simply held out her hand and took the jacket away like I had no right to it. I was ready to spend my money at your store, but after being treated like that, I honestly feel MK doesn’t deserve loyal customers if this is how you allow employees to behave. After this behavior, I decided it was better to leave the store. If you want to maintain the reputation of being a “luxury” brand, maybe start by hiring staff who actually know the meaning of respect and customer service. Because right now, your employees are only giving MK a reputation of being rude and cheap.
