Staff is very helpful and friendly! Great selection of outdoors goods and various items for the whole family. You need to also get the roasted nuts whenever you go—so glad they’ve brought them back!

I walked into Cabela’s fully aware of their closing time and was prepared to spend close to $1,000 on hunting gear. Within minutes of entering, an older gentleman with white hair felt the need to remind me twice that the store was closing in 10 minutes and that I needed to be out by closing time.
First of all, I knew exactly what time you close. Second, being told twice to leave before the store had even officially closed is unnecessary and frankly the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.
If customers are in the store before closing and ready to make a significant purchase, they should be treated with respect not rushed out the door. Extremely disappointing experience.
Do not recommend as I normally would recommend this store.

The individual is a stocky man with a white long beard who typically wears a cap. Based on repeated interactions, the level of customer service provided does not align with standards expected in a retail environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Communication is consistently brief and delivered with a dismissive tone. Responses - lack product interest not contributing meaningfully to the purchasing process. There is little observable effort to understand customer needs, recommend appropriate products, or support informed decision-making.
The overall demeanor appears disengaged and, at times, hostile. This approach does not foster a positive shopping experience and may negatively impact both customer retention and sales performance.
For a business seeking to maximize profitability through service excellence, a more proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach would be beneficial.
In contrast, the remainder of the fishing department staff consistently demonstrate professionalism, product knowledge, and a willingness to assist. Their approach reflects a clear understanding that strong customer service contributes directly to long-term profitability and brand reputation. I appreciate their assistance and would confidently return based on the level of service provided by the rest of the team.
Thank you guys.

The gentlemen behind the counter at the firearm section are friendly and great. However, their shipping time is sooooo slow... And the store process just make no sense.
I ordered a Benelli M4 (at a good price, I must say) online and selected pick up in store. (Or ship to store, I thought they meant the same thing but it's not), waited 2 full weeks for it to arrive while the exact same model is in stock in this store.
Anyway, I understand they may want to prioritise walk-in sales, but any competent inventory management system would prioritise sales vs hoarding inventory but I digress. Pick up and inspection went well, however they required a manager on duty to sign off the firearm purchase before walking me out of the store. The said manager was no where to be found and they spent literally half an hour trying to find her. Wasted a lot of time but at least I had a good chat with the folks there and check out a couple other items I may purchase somewhere else.
