  ❌ Terrible Experience at the Sunglass Store in Oshawa Centre – Never Again! I normally don’t write negative reviews, but my experience at the sunglasses store in Oshawa Centre was unbelievably disappointing. From the moment I walked in, the service felt cold and unwelcoming. I was looking to buy a good pair of sunglasses for work and driving, and I expected at least basic customer support. Instead, I felt like I was bothering the staff just by asking simple questions. The salesperson barely looked up, didn’t greet me, and acted as if I was wasting their time. When I asked for help choosing a frame, they shrugged and said, “Everything is on the wall,” and walked away. No explanation about UV protection, no suggestions, nothing. For a store selling expensive glasses, the customer service was shockingly poor. I tried on a pair that looked slightly uneven, and when I politely asked if they had another piece, the staff member rolled their eyes and said, “They’re all the same.” Clearly not! The pair was crooked, and even another customer standing nearby noticed it. Instead of checking inventory or offering alternatives, they kept pushing random items that didn’t fit my face or budget. When I finally decided to leave without buying, the attitude got worse. The staff whispered something to each other and laughed as I walked out. Completely unprofessional. A week later, I went back just to see if it was an off day. Sadly, it wasn’t. The second visit was exactly the same—unhelpful staff, zero interest in customer needs, and absolutely no knowledge about the products they’re selling. I asked about warranty coverage, and the employee answered as if they didn’t even understand their own policy. For such high prices, you expect at least basic courtesy and proper information. Oshawa Centre has many stores with great service, but this sunglasses shop is definitely not one of them. I left frustrated, embarrassed, and confused at how such a store is even operating with this level of customer care. If you value your money, your time, and your dignity, please shop somewhere else. There are many better options online and at other optical stores where they actually respect customers. I almost never give 1-star reviews, but this place truly earned it with its rude behavior, lack of professionalism, poor product quality, and negative attitude. I hope management sees this and trains their staff properly because customers deserve much better than this. ⸻

  Service was amazing they where able to help me with a missing screw even though I have purchased my Ray ban in the US no question ask they gave me the sunglasses clean and with a new screw thank you to the staff at this location

  I had such a wonderful experience shopping for new sunglasses. While the selection of frames was fantastic, the real highlight was the exceptional customer service provided by Vandana. ​She was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable as I tried on multiple styles. She offered excellent, honest suggestions based on my face shape and needs, and I never felt rushed or pressured. Thanks entirely to her guidance, I walked out with the perfect pair of sunglasses that I absolutely love. ​If you visit this store, definitely look for Vandana—she makes the entire process easy and enjoyable! Highly recommend this location for both quality products and truly top-notch service.

  Lousy customer service. Tried to return a pair of Ray ban glasses bought originally in the Pickering Town Centre, Because the Oshawa store didn't have any, then bought the pair on 09/06/25...tried returning them to the Oshawa location on 09/07/25.... Because a associate of mine gifted me a pair, unbeknownst to me. The ones I bought were not even opened, Had them less then 24 hours ... Had the receipt, for it and everything, But because the sales associate in Pickering didn't put my name on the receipt, Oshawa was unable to return it, Just because my name wasn't on the receipt. Told me I have to go back to Pickering to return them. Not happy, not impressed, Will go to Pickering return them, And never shop or recommend this place to anyone. I work retail as well, This is not OK .
