The Customer service associate at the online customer service counter was incredibly gracious; she took the time to explain exactly how the process worked and how she would handle my request. A huge shout-out to Racquel in the footwear department. She was so kind and patient, bringing out multiple styles and sizes of boots for me to try. She carefully explained the fit differences between sizes, which was extremely helpful. I also want to mention the manager, Alyssa, who handled the final exchange and in-store purchase. She was amazing and even apologized for the time it took, though the service was well worth it. Thanks to the team for making a potentially complicated return so easy. I will definitely be back to shop in-store!"

- MSMyles SAug 23, 20251.0EDIT: Well, it’s annoying to find out we drove an hour to do an exchange. Were told in store they don’t do exchanges for items purchased online - only to be told by LL Bean customer service that THEY DO allow online exchanges and returns in store. Lazzyyyy staff. Do your job. Emailed the address left in your response, but no response. Not surprised at this point. Returned item by mail and they tried to charge me SHIPPING. Called customer service and told them about the situation at the Oakville store and they also informed me the stores should be doing exchanges and returns for online items. Was refunded my $15 shipping and will legit never spend another dollar with this company again. Original review: Nice clean store, staff was nice. Great selection. BUT I hate stores that won’t do in store exchanges or returns on items you’ve purchased online. The Gap does it as well, which is why I no longer shop there. Love the stuff, but sadly won’t buy anything else there again unless this policy is changed.
