    Visit weekly leaving behind a mortgage payment everytime. Guys in fishing are fantastic, especially John!! Always so helpful when we see him and even stayed after his shift was over helping me surprise my husband with Christmas gifts. John is wonderful! Products are great. We own an embarassing amount of Basspro products! Our go-to spot for all things outdoors, smokers and yetis

    Just came from the store. Went in prepared to buy a new .22 and a new shot gun. Plus accessories of course. The only person who spoke to me said he didn’t have time because he was working with someone else and didn’t know where anyone else was. Then when 3 more employees showed up to the counter, I was completely ignored and unable to make my purchases. They did however give plenty of attention to the other shoppers who came in after me and were just browsing. Very disappointed.

    Viewing the boxing Day sale preview flyer I saw an item I was interested in coming on sale. I checked the availability at the Niagara location and saw that the item was out of stock. I also checked the other Ontario locations, and online availability with the same result, (not in stock). Why would you list that item on sale if you don't have the item in stock, anywhere? Why not just remove it from the flyer? Very frustrating and disappointing experience.

    Not someone who shops at Bass Pro Shop. I ordered gifts for my boyfriend and when I hadn’t received a pick up email yet the next day. At 5:08 PM on December 20, 2025 I called to inquire because the only time I had to pick them up was tomorrow. I’m not from the area and I do shift work. The lady over the phone explained the items get shipped from different stores if they don’t have them and they wouldn’t be there until after Christmas. I explained I never realized that when I chose the pick up option and that those were gifts for my boyfriend for Christmas and I was worried and she told me “it didn’t matter as it was only items”… yeah 2 GIFTS?! That I now have limited time to find alternatives for. The employee couldn’t get me off the phone fast enough and transferred me to another department to see if the items were actually in store for me to pick up. I asked for the employees name and I swore she told me Sandra before transferring me. When I called back to speak to someone about the level of customer service I received I was told there were no Sandra’s that worked there but there are a few different S names. I really hope I misheard this employee and that someone who works at Bass Pro wouldn’t be that awful of a person to make a dismiss comment like that and lie about their name. Not a great experience but thank you for Genny and Jeremy for your kindness and going above and beyond for me. They assured me that is not a standard they wish to be set. Hoping my next experience is a better one.

    Good store with very unique stuff, but unfortunately they play with the price. We bought a jacket for originally priced $200.00 for $129.99 just to discover under the sticker previous actual price of $79.99. This is not how you treat your customers. See photo for yourself. Update: I recently returned the jacket due to sizing, and the manager explained the $79.99 as the US price. While I understand cross-border differences, the layered stickers (with a $200 'original') made it seem like a larger discount than it was. It's still feels misleading, especially if it creates the impression of a bigger sale than it really is. Bass Pro has faced complaints in the past (both in the US and Canada) about inflated "original" prices or sticker practices that exaggerate discounts.
