    😤Terrible customer service from Becca! Today, at the London White Oaks location, we had THE worst service EVER! We spent ~$300 which is typically a monthly haul for our family. The girl who checked us out was the most obnoxious, arrogant and unpleasant help we have ever received at AE. Their entire clearance section is marked 'up to 60% off'. This leads to value uncertainty and when we asked her to advise us of the cost of items as they came up, her curt response as she tapped on the screen with super long finger nails was 'YOU will need to pay attention here'. I questioned the price of a pair of jeans as again, the display pricing is VERY misleading and she talked to me like I was a child. Her voice was loud and quite honestly, she left such a poor impression that I think we'll extend our business to Hollister going forward. I'm unsure if she gave a fake name but blond hair and crazy long finger nails that she uses for demonstration purposes should make it easy to figure out who this employee is. Thanks for many great years of service AE, we're OUT!

    At the very end I’ve come to figure out her name is Rebecca , it looks like we’ve all had the same terrible experience with the blonde middle-aged woman who is a manager. She was such an unpleasant and rude woman during my visit to AE. The younger employees were so sweet and pleasant. I cannot imagine how she treats her staff if this is how she openly treats customers. I do not know how this lady is still employed. She’s always saying snarky remarks behind customers thinking they don’t hear!šŸ‘‚

    Blond chick with Yankees hat makes a lot of snarky remarks a had a disappointing experience at American Eagle recently. One of the staff members made a comment telling us that we ā€œshould work retail,ā€ and it came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of feeling welcomed as customers, we felt talked down to. Retail is about creating a positive and respectful environment, and this interaction missed the mark. I hope management reinforces better customer service standards so others don’t have a similar experience.

    Dear American Eagle Customer Service Team, I am writing to share a disappointing in-store experience I had today at your American Eagle location around 7:30 PM, which ultimately resulted in a lost sale. At the time of my visit, the store was running multiple promotions: Buy one pair of jeans at regular price and get the second pair for 50% off Trade in an old pair of jeans and receive $10 off a regular-priced pair A 15% discount coupon I intended to purchase two pairs of jeans totaling approximately $150. However, the store manager, Herchelle, refused to apply the trade-in offer alongside the Buy One Get One 50% promotion. She stated that the trade-in discount only applied to full-priced items, despite the fact that one pair in this promotion is still purchased at full price. I spent over 10 minutes calmly explaining this, but she was unwilling to reconsider or clarify the policy. Additionally, I was told that my 15% coupon could not be combined with the promotion, which I later learned was also incorrect. Unfortunately, the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional, and the manager appeared unfamiliar with the store’s own promotional policies. As a result, I chose not to complete my purchase and left the store without buying anything. I am sharing this feedback because experiences like this directly impact customer trust and result in lost business. I strongly recommend additional training for management staff to ensure promotions are clearly understood and communicated accurately to customers. I have always enjoyed shopping at American Eagle and hope this feedback helps improve future in-store experiences. Thank you for your time and attention.

    Sadie at American Eagle provided the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. She was patient, kind, and helped me find jeans that made me feel confident again. I walked out feeling amazing. Proof that kindness and care really do make a difference! Thank you!! šŸ¤—
