  Absolutely unacceptable experience with Canada Goose. I sent in my Camp Hoody after it tore simply from stretching while wearing it — yes, normal movement — and their response was to classify it as “accidental damage” and deny any repair or coverage. Let me quote them directly: “The tear… is consistent with stress-related tearing… While we understand that the tear occurred while you were stretching, this type of damage is not considered a failure… under normal wear conditions.” So let me get this straight — are customers not supposed to move, stretch, or turn their torso while wearing a Canada Goose jacket? Because apparently if you do and it rips, that’s on you. This is a premium jacket at a premium price point, and it literally cannot withstand basic human movement. Instead of standing behind their product, they hide behind technical wording like “stress-related tearing” to avoid accountability. Even worse, I was told in-store at Yorkdale by a senior rep that this would be covered or at worst require a small copayment. That turned out to be completely false. If this is the level of durability and customer service you can expect, think twice before spending thousands on this brand. I’ll be escalating this further and making sure others are aware. Extremely disappointing.

  I had a good experience at this store. Lucas was a tremendous help with processing an exchange and getting the right sized coat for me.

  I had a terrible experience with Canada Goose. I was sold a defective winter parka, and when I attempted to return it within 30 days, the store refused to exchange it and pushed me to their warranty department. Warranty was no help, Not only was customer service unhelpful, but I was also charged a cleaning fee for a jacket that was defective from the start. To make matters worse, I am still without a jacket after all of this. The customer service supervisor, Ishalpa was unhelpful and dismissive. Canada Goose is simply not willing to take onus on a defective product they sold customers. This entire experience has been exhausting and unacceptable, especially given the premium price Canada Goose charges. The quality of their jackets has clearly declined, and their customer service does not stand behind their products. I would strongly advise against purchasing from Canada Goose and instead recommend investing in a brand that actually stands by its quality, such as Arc’teryx.

  My experience at this location was great. I was quietly greeted at the door by 2 associates and another girl (Kanesha) assisted me with trying on different coats. I came in knowing I was between 3 coat styles. She grabbed them all and even threw in a recommendation of her own for me to try on. She was very friendly, personable, and patient as I tried them on multiple times to compare them all. I ended up leaving with a coat I love. All the other employees helping customers also seemed fine - asking what people were looking for, what kind of weather they're going to be in, what style they like, etc. I'm glad I ignored all the negative reviews. I think people expect too much out of retail workers. Yes - it's an expensive store but employees don't make the prices and they shouldn't have to gas you up for you to buy something you want. Kanesha being a sweetheart was a bonus but I don't go to stores expecting the employees to be over the top fake and suck up to me. So ignore the negative comments and get your Canada Goose apparel!
