  I'm not sure what happened to this place but their staff hate their jobs and they have increased their prices. Today was the last straw. Not to mention the parking is a pain. Thisel down the street has cheaper prices, better parking and a better menu.

  For the most part, they have a very good staff. Price is good.If you price match if not it's overpriced , but the quality is horrible , i've came in about ten times more than half of those times the flower was extremely dry to the point It just crumbles when you pick it up. When I brought that to their attention, they told me that's just the luck of the draw. Would highly recommend going to a different dispensary

  Extreme negative experience — employee misconduct and false accusations I started going to friendly Stranger over 5 months ago after being offered a free lighter on my first visit, and I had a great first experience. The store was clean, the staff were friendly, and I felt valued. Over the months, I became a consistent customer, visiting roughly every other day and spending $50–$100 weekly. By the first week of February alone, I had already spent $75+. On February 7, I purchased pre-rolled joints and walked 30 minutes each way in winter conditions. When I opened the sealed container at home, there was only 1 joint instead of the 2 advertised and normally provided. The item cost $10.75. I immediately called the store that night to report the issue. I was told to “come in whenever I can.” No one instructed me to bring packaging, and I clarified that I live far away and would not be returning until I was back in the plaza. On February 9, I called again with an update and returned to the store expecting a simple resolution. Instead, I was met with hostile and unprofessional behavior from an employee, a light-skinned male with an afro. The said employee: • Accused me of lying and scamming • Claimed I was “trying to haggle” and “one-up them” • Told me I was “shit out of luck” • Stated I “wasn’t making sense” • Later claimed he had told me on the phone to bring the packaging and that I won’t be refunded now — which factually never happened, as I have a recording of the call. Another employee later said I was told to bring it, but my recording proves otherwise. At no point was I aggressive, demanding, or disrespectful. I calmly explained the situation and referenced the phone call where I was explicitly told to come in when I could. I was questioned why I didn’t return the same night, despite having already walked 1 hour total in winter weather, called and confirmed the issue immediately, and relied on the store’s assurance that it would be addressed later. I was then given dismissive analogies (e.g., McDonald’s fries), which only highlighted how little my concern was taken seriously. Imagine being a loyal customer who visits the store every other day for 5 months, has a good relationship with the staff, always consistent, calm, and respectful only to be treated like this over a minor issue. The manager acknowledged that inventory errors can occur, even if rarely. Yet the employee chose to accuse a long-time, loyal customer of dishonesty rather than resolve a simple mistake. As someone who initially had a positive experience and became a consistent customer, giving my business on a daily basis, being mocked, accused, and dismissed in person over a minor error was humiliating and unacceptable. This was not about the money; it was about basic respect and accountability. Because of said behaviour and the store’s failure to address it, I will not be returning. I strongly caution other customers, if an error occurs, you may be blamed rather than helped.
