As a loyal American Eagle customer for many years, I'm writing to share an extremely disappointing experience I had today at your Bramalea City Centre location in Brampton. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered at any American Eagle store.
The store manager displayed a complete lack of professionalism and respect toward both customers and her own employees. She was unwilling to listen to our concerns or engage in meaningful dialogue about our issue. Instead of providing assistance, she ignored us and provided misleading information.
Most troublingly, she gave us false assurances. She claimed she would contact customer service on our behalf, but minutes later told us to call them ourselves. She stated that after speaking with customer service, we could exchange our item, but this turned out to be untrue. When we followed her instructions, she ultimately declared that the decision was entirely hers to make—which raises the question of why she directed us to customer service in the first place.
Her behavior wasn't limited to how she treated us. I observed other employees who appeared uncomfortable and intimidated in her presence, suggesting a broader pattern of disrespectful conduct.
I am requesting that American Eagle take immediate and serious action regarding this manager's behavior. This individual should not be in a position of authority if she cannot treat customers and employees with basic respect and honesty. Additionally, I would encourage the company to review its return policy for clarity and provide comprehensive customer service training for management staff.
This experience has significantly impacted my perception of American Eagle, a brand I have supported for years. I expect a response regarding how this matter will be addressed

Excellent customer service from Alexi, she was super helpful, can tell she loves what she does, I went to buy one top, came out with 4. Manager was available and helpful as well. Great team work.
I had an amazing experience with Taylee at Aerie Bramalea as she was super knowledgeable about bras and even helped me pick out some undies which are on an incredible sale of 10 for $42 right now!!
As soon as I walked in she greeted me and told me all the great sales going on. She’s genuine, honest, and will take good care of you while you’re in there!
I heard the unfortunate news about this location closing down and I’m so saddened to hear because it’s very rare to receive such great customer service elsewhere.
Thank you so much Taylee and the staff of Aerie Bramalea, you all are amazing!

My experience at Bramalea city centre arie has always been so incredibly positive. Lola especially has been so helpful and welcoming. As a girl with a big chest it is so hard to find the right bra and clothing. She took the time with me to make sure I was comfortable and gave me so many options she truly is a gem and the light of the store!! I only go to this location because I’m always met and treated with respect, kindness and genuine care. Other locations are not like this and I am so beyond upset to find out they are closing down this location! The staff at this location go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. They are so incredibly encouraging and I’m sad that my shopping at arie will only be online from now on. Thank you Lola and the staff at arie Bramalea you will be missed and I hope the store doesn’t close down because I will have no reason to go to Bramalea anymore:( once again Lola any store would be lucky to have you and ur amazing customer service and genuine care for customers you will be so missed!!❤️
Laiba and Rav are so so sweet!!! I went just for the 10 for $42 deal, but when I went to cash out they were so lovely to converse and have a laugh with. Laiba helped me narrow down my underwear choices and she was so kind! She mentioned she’s a newer hire and she doesn’t seem like it at all. Then I checked my app and I needed a few more dollars for a reward and Laiba & Rav were giving GREAT suggestions! Rav was so good that after I made a decision on what to add I had to playfully tell her to stop suggesting or I’d go bankrupt 🤣 to whoever the SM is, this is a message to let you know that Rav & Laiba are both SO good at their jobs!
