  I had a great experience with Edible Arrangements in Barrie. I spoke with Rommel when I called to ask about delivery timing, since it was my niece’s birthday and I hoped the arrangement would arrive shortly after she finished school. While they couldn’t make any same-day delivery promises, the team was very efficient, and it actually arrived earlier than expected. My niece absolutely loved it! I really appreciated how friendly, understanding, and helpful Rommel and the team were. Thank you, Edible Arrangements Barrie—we’ll definitely be ordering again.

  Over the weekend I ordered a birthday package, including a vanilla cake and balloons, for my boyfriend. It was to be delivered today, as per the order. I paid extra for delivery, despite never having paid for delivery ordered in advance through the website prior to this (albeit the others have all been in Alberta). I tried to call on Saturday to correct a phone number for delivery, as his cell reception is spotty where he’s at and I’d rather they call me so I can let him know to go get it from the lobby of the resort, to which they said they’d call me back to update it. Big surprise, that call never came through. Fast forward to today: I called for an update, they said they couldn’t change the number to mine (because apparently writing on a piece of paper and attaching it to the box was deemed too difficult to comprehend), so instead I asked them to hold it at the location and I would have my boyfriend pick it up himself. A few hours later, I spoke to my boyfriend asking if he got everything I ordered, and to my surprise all he got was a chocolate cake. No balloons, no vanilla cake like what was ordered, no delivery. Was I still charged for all of this, as well as a tip for the delivery driver? Oh I absolutely was. I called the store to voice my dissatisfaction, and was spoken to by a man asking what I would like to do about it as they don’t carry vanilla cakes and insinuated it was my fault for using the online store to order instead of calling a store on the other side of the country to order this. Not once was ownership of any of the issues taken by this man, who continues to lay the onus on me to correct his store’s mistakes. They had ample opportunities from the time they received the order until the time I called to change the order to pickup to inform me of these issues, but instead chose to pretend they didn’t exist. I am sorely disappointed, not only in the bait and switch of products and of purchased items not being included, but also the tone of the man of the phone and his refusal to come up with any solutions while putting the onus on me to correct his store’s multiple mistakes. Unfortunately, I feel like this isn’t an uncommon instance with this location and am left with quite the sour taste in my mouth. Do better, because this is highly unacceptable.

  DONT BUY FROM THESE GUYS Picked up a chocolate covered tray of fruits and strawberry was rotten inside. $85.00 and not quality control. Will never purchase from edible arrangements again.

  Not impressed. Spent almost $200 and requested a 11 AM delivery for an 85th birthday. call them at 3:00pm and was told there was no order until i advised the order number.Delivered sometime after 6:00pm ,party was over and had other engagements arranged. Left in the frozen cold outside in -20 ,total order ruined. Do not order from the store.

  Ordered a strawberry platter/arrangement for my wife's birthday online at least a week in advance, since we arent from that area and i had a surprise birthday getaway for my wife planned i chose to get it delivered to our retreat which the system said was in range and it took my money. I tried calling a total of 7 times during the next 5 days ( to make sure they received it and to make sure it would be delivered and mostly because I read all the bad reviews in the last few months after placing the order) with either 0 answer or callback. The day before her birthday I called and called and a very rude and annoyed sounding man answered the phone and told me the delivery address was not in their range and he could maybe get it delivered with a private contractor for an additional 45 $ ! At that point I couldnt arrange anything else and agreed because I didnt want to ruin her bday. Got the platter, strawberries were very fresh amd juicy but the chocolate decor was half assed. They didnt dip them they simply plopped some milk chocolate on top of a strawberry and drizzled green colored chocolate on top. Very very disappointed in the whole thing. Would never ever order from this location again.
