- DPDiamond PrincessJan 27, 20261.0Horrible they are frauds I pay over $130 monthly for service it malfunctions regularly. Its supposed to include roadside it’s been weeks my car has been sitting because “ they dropped the ball” on sending my paperwork to there third party roadside assistance company ioncore no better honestly and refuse to pick it up and fix the issue although last week they told me they would call them to fix there mishaps if not corrected in 3-5 days today is day 5 I have no confirmation and they’re now say I should call there third party again for the umpteenth time and play ping pong was told since there is a camera I can dispute it because I was actually driving on my way to work when I got a violation nope still having to pay $120 per lockout or and $330 for the equipment install just to drain my battery the same day another $300 on a new battery or and I still have my monthly expenses plus the roadside and I can’t even get a tow this is a rigged fraudulent system.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?

Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
