I called back immediately, was not greeted by an associate, then placed on hold. After being on hold for 14 minutes, I hung up out of frustration. I called the JCP 1800 number to see if someone there could help me and the customer service rep just made excuses as to why no one answered the phone the last few days. No apology, he instead blamed me for not calling the correct in store number. If that truly is the case (which it isn’t…because I talked to someone in store 3 weeks ago at the number I called), then JCP needs to update their Google information. Very very disappointed in CS.

Customer service was beyond rude, accusing me of wearing the shoes bc the bottom of the toe area had black marks. There was no scuffs of the bottom rubber. No scuffs of the heel rubber. No toe marks inside or any other indication of wear. The floors in this store are beyond filthy. Multiple pairs of shoes on the shelf had the exact same black marks from people literally trying on the shoes. DO NOT purchase shoes from here if you plan to return. I will NEVER step foot in this store again after dealing with the rude customer service on Dec 10th at 10:00 am.
