    We were looking for a pair of funeral appropriate pants for my father who deals with pain from a chronic illness. When I finally found someone who works at the store, a tall caucasian man with brown hair, we asked for help and he let us know that he could not help us in any way because this was not "a personal shopping location". He didn't even point us in the vague direction of the pants section. At this point, my father who was already in emotional and physical pain walked out of the door, which is what I should have done instead of thanking them politely and leaving. I've never experienced such condescending behavior and lack of assistance before in my life. For the man we encountered, should he read this: You do not know what someone else may be experiencing in life and you should consider being more attentive, kind, and helpful to others. A side note: the feedback option on Belk.com returns a link that returns as "javascript:void(0)", Belk is a mess and we will be letting others know not to shop here.
