One layer of bubble wrap in a paper thin box it had multiple holes in the box and the stock looked like someone had taken an axe to it. What sucks the most is they sold me a beautiful vintage Winchester and delivered a piece of stove wood.

The staff is not properly trained, and the systems that they have in place to handle customer service are terrible. While I was there attempting to make a purchase there were at least 8 other people waiting in line to be helped. My purchase alone took about 90 minutes. I finally saw two of the guys just turn around and leave. Apparently, it is their practice to handle one customer at a time no matter how long that takes. At one point I had 3 employees trying to figure out how to handle my simple purchase. I will never go back to Bass Pro ever again. From now on Scheels will get all of my business.

I got a 3700 size fishing lure box for about $7. They are about $12 on the lower end on Amzn right now. Saw some good prices on rods. Reel selection for the brand I was looking for is only 1 at about 4x my price range, and way more reel than I need. The new season designs will probably come out soon and stock should follow. (Early February '26) ✌️😎🎣
