Finally after searching, we went to checkout. I recently purchased a discount card stating $10.00 off any regularly priced item of $50.00. The pants were $50.00 and not on sale so the coupon should have worked. The employee at the register refused to honor the coupon and said, it's not just this school it's all the local school cards they just don't scan. Most companies honor their coupons that are valid even if they don't scan. Obviously customer service here is of no importance.
