- JHJess HJul 12, 20251.0My husband and I stopped in to Lane Bryant today as part of our trip as visitors from another city. I asked the young woman at the counter if I could try a piece of clothing on and she was very sweet and told me I could go ahead and go back to the dressing rooms and that there should already be some open. As my husband and I made our way back to the dressing room section, the older woman who was putting clothing on the rack and was completely blocking the way to the dressing rooms not only did not move out of the way, she didn't even acknowledge we were there as we basically had to climb over a bench to get around her. Then, as I went to go into a stall, my husband went to sit at the bench just inside the dressing room area and the same woman, who had just acted like we weren't there, suddenly was all over us as she hurried over and started very loudly telling my husband he couldn't sit there because he was "going to make the other customers uncomfortable." There wasn't even anyone else in the store besides us and the bench wasn't anywhere near the other stalls, just by the one I was in. I put the item of clothing back and we left without buying it. We then spoke to a few ladies at the Torrid at the same mall who said that they had had bad experiences with staff at that same store as well and that they were rude to them too. We definitely won't be back!
