  I don't dislike the place and find books I like often but they don't always discount books as much as they should especially since they will give you 5 bucks for like 30 books even if some are worth like 50 new on their own. I understand making profits but they will scam you without remorse and call if profits. Give your books to people who will enjoy them for free or put them in a little library. Don't sell to Half Price unless you literally don't care that they're going to charge more than 10 times what they pay you for all of your stuff. Again good selection but selling to them is something I'm learning not to do as it's never even afforded me more than one cheap paperback from them for every 20 to 30 books I dont want anymore.

  Large selection and you never know what you will find. They accept books and dvds, even board games. Wish it was closer to my house but that would probably be dangerous for my wallet.

  We love shopping here. You can find a lot of stuff at a great price. Only downfall is they give you very little when selling. Much less then other resellers. Also some staff are really great, others are not.

  I was really disappointed with this bookstore. It advertises itself as a half-price or secondhand shop, but the pricing just doesn’t reflect that at all. In many cases, I found books priced higher than what I could buy them for brand new at other stores or online. The whole point of a used bookstore is to offer more affordable options, but that just wasn’t my experience here. It’s frustrating to browse secondhand items expecting a deal, only to realize you’d actually be saving money buying new elsewhere. I love supporting local bookstores, but the pricing needs to be more realistic and aligned with what customers expect from a secondhand shop. ⸻ For example: Twilight saga hardcover books $118 at half priced bookstore $65 Amazon/Walmart Anatomy of an Alibi $27 at half priced book store $22 Meijer $20 Amazon When I brought this up to the store employees they said they can’t do anything about the price.
