They unloaded my items, worked quickly and efficiently to get through my items. Every single staff person I met was friendly and helpful. Staff even came out and assisted me with loading my wheelchair!!!! The were awesome!
- BBBern BuechlerDec 1, 20253.0I always enjoy bookstores, but this one probably shouldn't call itself Half Price Books. Maybe call it Three-Quarters Price Books? Books with a $20 original tag were about $15 on average. One book my wife was interested in was $35 normally, but they had it for $24. Amazon had the exact same edition for $12. Any 'discount' store that you can undercut by pulling out your phone and going to the biggest shopping website in the world isn't much of a discount store. A solid quarter of the store was movies, records, video games, board games, card games, etc. They seemed to have a decent selection, but don't go in expecting any real 'deals'. Think of it more like the media section at a yard sale where the owner has a very high opinion of everything they own, and you can't talk them down on that dog-eared copy of The Green Mile they swear is still worth $15.
