- B6boogiebug 64 days ago1.0What a nightmare! Customer service gives the run around. The device caused all of my lights on the dash to light up. This thing was not registering my breath it stopped making the noise to let me know my breath was being analyzed when I was in transit causing me to miss tests. Due to this when I put it in park my vehicle locked up. Parking break will not disengage, can not get it out of park from the shifter, had to get a tow to my home. I was told I had road side assistance nobody would come. The staff was very short and ended the call promptly. This is one of the most run around things I’ve ever done in my life.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
