Okay so unfortunately I have to leave a one star because they're very rude and very mean to people they don't even give people a chance. I love to shop here and love their stuff but don't really love them. So with my experience is I see that they're hiring for two positions at that location. I applied then I called up there to speak with somebody about the application and then I couldn't even understand the person who picked up the phone. They was just fumbling with the phone and mumbling for words. They went and spoke with their manager then got back on the phone and was like if we're interested in you will call you okay. Excuse me but I think that's extremely rude because the way I was raised and what I was taught as a child growing up in school is you want a job you apply for it. You show initiative you show that you're interested in working for that company and that stands out and should put you above the rest of the applications. But apparently in today's world they just don't care and they just want to buy you off with cheap little lines. Not very impressed. That's very rude. That's not the way to do business nore the way to hire people. I wonder why they're always needing help. I mean if they're like that just to check up on an application I can imagine what it would be like working for them. Unfortunately. I'm very disappointed in the way I was treated. I feel like I should at least been given a chance or talked to not just immediately blown off with some line just so they can get you out of their faceir off the phone. I was raised completely different. I'm sorry that I want to work for your company and I want to show you what I can do for your customers and your company. I'm really ashamed that you would treat somebody this way. That's not very nice at all I makes it to the point where I don't even want to shop there anymore nor would I recommend anybody ever to apply there or shop there because let's be honest here. They're kind of high priced on some of their stuff. I mean another half price books, but like if a book brand new is $18 you can count on it at least being $9 or more there so they don't really take into consideration of the fact that if you used and what not. If it's $18 half price will make it nine hit being used and what not. Should you know you would think $7 $8 that'd be fair and their CDs are just too close to some of the prices of being brand new, especially for old used CDs. They could be a little bit cheaper by a couple dollars. I'm just being honest and giving my opinion. I mean still like the company and I like the stuff that they sell. But for how much longer I'm going to shop here, I'm not for sure. Frankly, I'd rather just go to other bookstores cuz they're not the only ones in business. But if you're applying here, we're thinking about working here. I highly recommend you don't waste your time and you go somewhere else somewhere where they're at least nice to you and at least take into consideration that you're showing initiative to show them that you would like to work for them.

I love this place! What can't you find here ?! Books, magazines, games, collectibles, audios, videos, cards, etc. Everything very well organized! Friendly employees & patrons ❤️ ❤️. Olivia ( my rescue puppy) and I "stopped" by on 11/23/25. My "stops" often easily turn into hours. Chairs are placed around the store for comfortable browsing. I especially enjoy the clearance section. Magazines categorized by subject-often ones that are of my interest and curiosity but a bit beyond my means as new mags. Most going for 50¢ or $1. Prices can't be beat and if it's time to release some of your books, etc.. just take them with you and Half Price Books will buy them- such a good way to recycle! The only thing missing here is a good cup of coffee☕. Thank you Half Price Books!

As an avid reader I'd share that gems are found here just like the retail bookstores sans $!
