- JJJennifer J.Feb 7, 20265.0Summit Mall is probably the premier shopping center in and around Akron. It's situated in an up market neighborhood and appears to thrive as it's always busy! This past week was their annual Trick or Treating event where stores hand out candy to the young attendees. Our grandchildren had a lot of fun. The anchor stores at Summit Mall include: Dillards and Macy's. Others include: Things Remembered, Hot Topic, Key's, T-Mobile, Bare Minerals, Jos A Banks and a number of kiosk vendors.

- CDC DJan 22, 20261.0Summit mall seems to be discriminatory to disabled. I was in the mall today working a service dog who is almost done with his training. He was impeccably behaved - right at my side, didn’t make a peep. Mall management told me we had to leave and said he has to have a vest. Neither the ADA or the law require a service dog to be wearing a vest. Shame on them for number one not being more supportive and number two, not knowing the requirements surrounding service dogs.
