Within a couple of weeks, they called to tell me that it would need to be sent to the factory for service. I agreed, and they said they’d take care of it. Then… nothing. No updates, no calls, no emails. By October, I finally reached out to check on the status. During that call, there was a lot of confusion about whether my watch had even been sent out or not. After some back and forth, they told me it had been serviced and that the cost would be $970. So today, I went to the store to finally pick it up — only to find out that it was never serviced at all. Apparently, it was sent out to Omega, but they claimed I “never acknowledged” the repair quote, so Omega returned it to the store. The kicker? It's been sitting there in their possession since June, untouched. I've now had my watch sitting at their store for almost five months with no service done whatsoever, and the only explanation they gave me was that they "fired the guy who was handling it." That's not really an excuse when you're trusting someone with a multi-thousand-dollar watch.
