Every piece of pottery is hand-painted—making it one-of-a-kind. Skilled artisans in Poland paint each piece of pottery with intricate designs using a freehand and sponge stamping technique. The stunning pottery comes in many colors including cobalt blue, sage green, brick red and sunburst yellow.
From the art studios in Boleslawiec, Poland, to the stores in Berlin, Ohio, this time-honored craft is here in the U.S. Our family fell in love with the pottery when our daughter happened upon it while serving overseas in the U.S. Air Force and would send some home. Now we sell Polish pottery for all to treasure.
Located in a two-story home turned into a storefront on Main Street, the pottery store is stocked with everything from plates to coffee mugs, baking dishes, serving plates, berry colanders, honey pots and soap dispensers. All dishes are microwave, oven, dishwasher and freezer safe—making the pottery as practical as beautiful.

Loretta was the most gracious host offering a warm friendly smile, expert knowledge and impeccable service! She made our shopping experience entirely memorable and rewarding by helping us find pieces that suited our tastes and retrieving them from the store's loft. We discovered that the collection at the Niche contains authentic rare UNIKAT (Unique) pieces signed by the Artisans who created them. Such pieces could likely be more valuable on the collectors market than the remarkable prices that the Pottery Niche affords it's customers.
