Absolutely horrible experience due to their merchandise manager Emily. She is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and down right nasty. I was the only customer in the store at the time, at least 4 girls were working the floor, not one greeted me nor asked if I needed any help. I ordered clothing online for in store pickup, when I asked questions about gift receipts she said she wasn't able to provide them for online orders. I asked how the people I was gifting the clothes to could return them if they were the wrong size or not their style. Before I could finish asking she was back on her phone and acting bored. I asked again and she said I guess you would have to return them with your email confirming my purchase, unfortunately this would not be possible as we live in separate states. I also bought a pair of jeans while there and bypassed my pin with my debit card with no problem, I needed to purchase a gift card as well but forgot because I was quite shocked at how incredibly rude and nasty she was. I had to purchase it as a separate transaction, I used the same card and this time she told me I had to put a pin in or use a different card. It didn't make sense but after dealing with her attitude I just used another card to be done with her. I left the store went to my car and called American Eagle and was told I could absolutely get gift receipts, so I went back into the store asked to speak to any other manager but Emily, and the name of the district manager ( they refused to give me the name of the district manager). Zoey (the store manager) was able to provide the gift receipts and did everything to help me despite having to deal with my attitude towards my experience with Emily. I will be reaching out to the district manager and reaching out to corporate about the way I was treated. It's obvious by other reviews (by the descriptions in them) that Emily feels as a merchandising manager she can treat customers anyway she wants without repercussions because she is management. ( For the life of me I don't know how she holds this position) Maybe Emily should stick to merchandising and less time with customers, she doesn't have the personality nor the couth to be working with the public. Zoey, on the other hand was calm, apologetic and went the extra mile to take care of what needed to be done. Excellent customer service, but after witnessing Emily's abrasive personality I am sure Zoey apologizes and cleans up her mess on the regular. I doubt we will be back to this location due to this experience.

I was buying jeans the front and also ordering some. The lady put in the wrong size when they arrived. I called and asked what to do, and the lady one the phone was very rude and scolded me. she told me that i had to come in the store. it’s 30 minutes from me… and it wasn’t my fault. i didn’t put in the wrong information. the customer service there is a joke and foul. the lady who answered the phone needs to not pick up the phone. and they need a new routine when this happens because it’s not fair customers have to be the one to fix the employees problem. driving 30 minutes to fix her problem when a girl just yelled at me on the phone.

Garrett went out of his way to help us find clothes to suit our needs. He not only helped find styles and sizes, he actually pitched in as a stylist to help choose the best looks possible for the occasion! He was constantly around to offer help in any way he could, leaving us with a satisfied purchase that we couldn’t have possibly found without Garrett!
There was another girl whose name I missed, with glasses and dark hair cut in layers. She went out of her way to offer me a stool as I was waiting outside the fitting rooms. She also helped find the cash register, and when the cashier was not present, she stepped up to help us check out our purchase so that we are not left waiting for the cashier to come back. She was very sincere and kind, really wish I could’ve asked for her name.
American Eagle has some great and passionate employees such as Garrett and the girl I described above! Great work you two!
