  Extremely poor customer service and manager had 0 interest in helping me. Very unprofessional and would not recommend going there. Also just a heads up that there is two sunglass hut and it’s the one right next to elevator

  We bought Meta Glasses from a Sunglasses hut in Norwalk, CT. The representative was incredibly nice and informed us that if we didn’t like the glasses we had 30 days to return or exchange. Naturally, when we got home we realized we got the polarized sunglasses (not the ones that change in the sunlight). We didn’t want the solely sunglasses because then you can’t really wear them/record inside (unless you want to look a little interesting). We were in NY when we realized (the very next day) and so we called the Norwalk location and asked if we could 1) exchange them for the correct ones 2) if we needed to have the cardboard box that they came in. The woman was SO nice and said and I quote “you do not need the box, they should not give you a hard time.” Now, it’s very important to understand that the **white plains mall has 2 sunglasses huts** and we first went to the one immediately to the left of the elevator. We were met with immediate hostility from what I assume to be the manager (he was bald and wore glasses). He insisted that we needed the box. I told him about the conversation and that we called prior to coming and he was so rude and disrespectful, basically inferring that we’re stupid. I asked “can I call the woman that I spoke to, and you can speak to her”. He just kept deferring to that their policy per their “district manager” would not allow it. Cool, so we walked 20 feet to the other sunglasses hut and were met with the NICEST girl. I wish I could remember her name. She said we absolutely did not need the box. The interaction was lovely and we got the right glasses. We are so happy there was a 2nd sunglasses hut in this mall (what are the odds?). If not, we would have left for our Christmas vacation without the correct glasses which would have just been a total bummer because we wanted to be able to record the travels. This man should not be working in customer service or retail. He did not apologize for the inconvenience, he did not say sorry or even goodbye. We awkwardly left the store in silence. Honestly, he seemed happy that he couldn’t help us. What a shame.

  My case ripped just a few weeks after purchase. I stopped by and an employee said he couldn’t give me replacement, to call RayBan and see what they could do. I left disappointed. My wife works in the mall and a few days later Monty, a manager at this store chased her down and handed her a new case. Thanks, Monty, that was a 5 star move for sure.
