Purchased an 8-thousand dollar watch - returned less than 48 hours later to exchange it for a smaller size. I was told I could not exchange the watch because it was worn (I only wore it in the store to try it on and left with it in the box).
This was after I had phoned in to confirm their 7-day exchange policy with the store.
When I asked as to what the trade-in value would be so I could just get the other model, they told me that the watch lost over 20% of its value. Complete scam store.

Recently visited the store to sell a watch. Despite his initial friendliness, Jayden was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive.
I understand their policy doesn't allow them to disclose why they don't buy a watch. That said, the proper way to communicate that is to pull me aside and speak directly.
Instead, Jayden took upon himself to yell across the floor and tell me they're passing on the watch. This was uncomfortable as other patrons began to stare.
Extremely disappointed with the customer service. Will not be returning to this location.

Jayden did a fantastic job helping me with my Rolex purchase. He was incredibly helpful at every step and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The manager, Angelina, was also wonderful and made me feel fully welcomed from the moment I walked in. Truly outstanding service from both of them. Highly recommend.

I didn’t make a purchase, but I wanted to share the exceptional experience my family and I had at Bucherer this past weekend. I visited with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter, hoping to try on a few Rolex models to compare them to my Starbucks Submariner, as well as have my wife try on a 41mm Datejust to compare it with her two-tone 36mm.
When we arrived, I was greeted by Christian, who had just finished assisting another family. I let him know I was interested in trying on a Daytona and a Sky-Dweller, and he quickly presented a two-tone Daytona and a white-dial Sky-Dweller on a Jubilee bracelet—both incredible pieces beautiful craftsmanship. He then showed my wife a two-tone chocolate diamond-dial Datejust. While it was too large for her wrist, it fit me perfectly when I tried it on.
Afterward, I asked Christian about the process for beginning a collection at this boutique, especially as a local from the Bronx. He explained everything clearly and professionally, and I told him how much I appreciated his straightforward approach.
We then visited the Tudor section, where Omar also a Bronx native welcomed us. He showed me the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic on a hybrid leather strap, which looked great and felt very comfortable. I thanked him as well.
When we moved over to the Cartier section, Christian returned and kindly showed my wife and me several women’s models, ranging from small to medium sizes, and even went to the back to bring out a Large Cartier Santos for me to try on. At one point, a young woman from the staff, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, noticed my daughter wanting to try on a watch because she saw us trying them on. She removed her own vintage Cartier watch passed down to her from her mother and gently placed it on my daughter’s wrist. My daughter immediately lit up, smiling and chatting with her. That moment was truly priceless, and I can’t thank her enough for such a thoughtful gesture.
To Christian and the entire Bucherer 1888 team: thank you for the time, warmth, and outstanding experience you provided to me and my family. It meant a great deal to us.
